Become an Affiliated Faculty Member
The Harvard Sikh Center welcomes applications from scholars interested in joining our faculty network. This is an opportunity to contribute to the Panth’s intellectual renaissance through nishkam seva — selfless service through the gift of your expertise.
As an Affiliated Faculty member, you will:
- Mentor emerging scholars and senior fellows on research projects
- Contribute to Center programming, seminars, and publications
- Collaborate with a global network of Sikh Studies scholars
- Participate in works-in-progress seminars and research clusters
What You Receive:
- Formal Letter of Academic Appointment as "Distinguished Faculty Mentor"
- External Evaluation Letter for tenure and promotion files documenting your service
- Listing in the Harvard Sikh Center Faculty Directory
- Community of practice with other scholars committed to Sikh Studies
Eligibility :
- Hold a faculty position at an accredited college or university, OR
- Be an independent scholar with a demonstrated publication record..., OR
- Be a working professional in media, arts, or education with relevant expertise
- Commitment to mentoring the next generation of Sikh scholars and creators
